We’re making it easy to make sustainable food choices available to you, by partnering with forward thinking restaurants and suppliers

As an independent certification organization, we scout hundreds of restaurants in the Pacific Northwest USA to recognize those that are doing the most to limit our impact on Earth’s diverse inhabitants. We use an extensive set of criteria to evaluate each restaurant, and a restaurant will earn an overall level of certification for their combined performance.

Phillipa Wright

I am particularly passionate about topics related to climate change reduction and impact management, and through my hunger for opportunity and action have started multiple employee resource groups centered on sustainability at prior companies. I have a multi-disciplinary business background in performance marketing, customer experience management, operations and consulting for various fortune 500 companies and startups. I completed courses on both climate change and environmental sciences throughout university and earned a master’s level certification from the University of Cambridge for Sustainable Supply Chain Management.

I have grown especially invested in our North American food systems in the last few years and I intend to make Growing Reason the positive force behind forever changing how this continent eats, one responsible bite at a time.

Born and raised on the North American West Coast, from the Mojave Desert to the shores of British Columbia, Seattle is now my home.
